$6 085.00 Per Person from Victoria Falls and back, Sing Supp $195.00

Botswana is Southern Africa's most prestigious safari destination: an Eden of wild and pristine landscapes that overflows with life. From the labyrinth of channels and islands of the Okavango Delta to the open savannahs and woodlands of the Chobe National Park: there is unrivalled beauty and sensational game viewing. It is October anda hint of green creeps into an otherwise dry environment. In a few short weeks the first rains will arrive, the wild grasses of northern Botswana will burst into life, and the great herds of animals will disperse. For now though the skies are vast and open, the earth raw, grazing is scarce and water more precious than anything else. As wildlife is forced towards the rivers and water holes, both predator and prey are forced closer and closer together. This is the setting for the most dramatic theatre on the African continent: the battle for survival, the perfect place for a wildlife photographer to be!

Our professionally guided photographic expeditions are about developing the creativity of your wildlife photography while in the field. Your days on safari will be filled with photographic opportunities complemented by technical and creative advice, specific to each wildlife encounter. Tuition is personalized yet informal, offered in a relaxed environment where you are able to share your own knowledge and learn from all those around you. Shoot alongside Jamie Thom and let him work out positioning of teh vehicle and planning of each drive to maximize your opportunities. A local Botswana guide will accompany us on this trip as well.

What we tried to do with this trip is keep it affordable, make it slightly longer than most other photo trips and visit areas often not included in photo safaris, and have a bit of adventure - yet still visit the best parks in Botswana to create the best opportunities.

The vehicle we use is designed to carry 8 or 12 people and we will only have between 4 and 6 people, plus myself, so there will be plenty of space for gear and to move within the vehicle - in addition, it has a roof which opens and allows photography from a slightly elevated perspective. So there is always good views for everyone.

Accommodation is in simple dome tents, with comfortable mattresses. (Please see the gallery by clicking on the elephant iamge above) Our team of staff assemble and dismantle the camp on each of the moving days while we are out shooting.

This is an excellent value for money photo safari covering multiple areas and staying in comfortable but simple accommodation. Jamie will lead this trip as a photography guide in conjunction with a local Botswana guide.
