Day 1 - Lake Duluti Lodge, Arusha

On your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport you will be met by a member of the &Beyond team who will drive you by road to Lake Duluti Lodge. Spend one night at Lake Duluti Lodge. Accommodation is in a chalet. Your stay includes accommodation, full English breakfast, all drinks (excluding fine wines, champagnes and premium spirits) teas and coffees, internet access, laundry, coffee farm tour, babysitting facilities and government taxes.

Days 2, 3 - Lake Manyara Tree Lodge, Lake Manyara National Park

After your early breakfast, you will be transferred to Arusha Airport for your scheduled flight to Manyara airstrip. On arrival, you will be met by a representative from &Beyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge for your first game drive enroute to the lodge. Spend two nights at &Beyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge. Accommodation is in an elegant, stilted treehouse, which is cradled in the boughs of mahogany trees. Your room is built of timber and makuti (palm fronds) and has a spacious sitting area, viewing deck and a lovely ensuite bathroom. Your stay includes three meals daily, soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits and beers, teas and coffees, emergency medical evacuation insurance, laundry and daily lodge activities.

Created to protect its magnificent elephant herds, Manyara National Park is equally famous for the unusual behaviour of its tree-climbing lions as for the flocks of pink flamingos that inhabit the lake's shores. Large numbers of buffalo, cheetah, leopard, Maasai giraffe and hippo can all the encountered. The park is also a birdwatcher's paradise, with more than 400 species, particularly waterfowl and migrants. In October, migrant species arrive at Manyara from as far as the Arctic.

Days 4, 5, 6 - Serengeti Under Canvas, Serengeti National Park

Enjoy an early morning breakfast before getting into a safari vehicle for the drive back to the Manyara airstrip, where you will board a scheduled flight to Serengeti Under Canvas. Your stay includes three meals daily, soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits and beers, teas and coffees, scheduled safari activities, refreshments on game drives and laundry.

The Serengeti National Park, meaning 'endless plains' in the Maasai language, is undoubtedly one of the world's most celebrated wilderness areas and is an ongoing source of inspiration to writers, filmmakers and photographers.

It is Tanzania's oldest game reserve, renowned as the site of the annual Great Migration, when an estimated three million antelope - mostly wildebeest - migrate to Kenya's Masai Mara Game Reserve. This epic, seasonal journey is a deeply moving experience and a wonderful photographic subject. Visitors to the park can roam its sprawling plains on exhilarating game drives or hop into a hot-air balloon for a once-in-a-lifetime wilderness adventure.

Days 7, 8 - Ngorongoro Crater Lodge, Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area

Enjoy another early morning game drive and a tantalising breakfast before being driven back to the airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Manyara airstrip. Upon landing you will be met by a representative from Ngorongoro Crater Lodge who will drive you to the lodge. Spend two nights at Ngorongoro Crater Lodge. Accommodation is in a suite with ensuite bathroom with bath and shower. Your stay includes three meals daily, soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits and beers, teas and coffees, scheduled safari activities, refreshments on game drives and laundry.

The Ngorongoro Crater in Northern Tanzania, once a gigantic volcano, is the largest intact caldera in the world. Endangered black rhino are protected within its rim, giant tusked elephants wander the forests, black-maned lions stalk the grasslands, and flamingoes crowd the soda lakes. An estimated 25 000 large mammals are resident in this bowl of plenty, including a population of approximately 6 000 resident wildebeest, 16 highly endangered black rhino and around 70 lions. Cheetah move in and out of the Crater, while leopard are most often encountered in the spectacular Lerai Forest.

Day 9 - Depart

Tuck into a sensational breakfast feast before your drive back to the Manyara airstrip, where we wave a fond farewell as you board your scheduled flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your outbound flight.
